Design Idea
The Legends
This hoodie is a tribute to Pakistani music and the legends who shaped its culture. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan took qawwali to the world. Abida Parveen's Sufi voice carries deep spirit and devotion. Mehdi Hassan, the king of ghazal, gave generations of listeners their emotions in song. Their portraits sit on the front as torn, stitched patches, like old photographs kept close to the heart.
The Music Lover
The back artwork shows a person who lives for music. Their eyes, nose and lips are formed from instruments, so the face itself is music. The tabla, harmonium and street-music instruments reflect the sound of Pakistan's streets, shrines and bazaars. The crescent and star give it a proud national identity.
The Meaning of Junoon
For a true music lover, music is life itself. That is what Junoon means.
